Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez New Year’s Kiss in Jeopardy?

– Selena Gomez shared this weekend that she will be performing in New York for the MTV New Year’s party and we already knew that Justin Bieber will be performing on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. However, this may be a case of “so close, but yet so far”! Selena Gomez announced on herofficial Facebook page, “Hey Everyone– Not sure if you know but, I will be the first performance for MTV in 2012 at the strike of midnight I will be performing at MTV’s NYE Party.” Since she is singing at the strike of midnight, obviously Selena won’t be able to make it Times Square to meet up with Justin for a New Year’s kiss.

However, maybe since Dick Clark’s celebration starts at 8:00 pm, Justin could perform early enough in the night that he can get to Selena for a midnight kiss just before she starts signing. Of course, considering the mob of people who come out to celebrate in Times Square, it could be a feat for him to get out of there in time to make it. But it’s possible, depending on just how early he sings and how far away the MTV party is being held. When it comes to love, anything can happen. To quote Justin, “NEVER SAY NEVER!”
