Sonny With A Chance star Sterling Knight chatted with BOP! about being rejected by a pretty girl at school: ‘When I was in middle school, there was a girl that was the most gorgeous person I’d laid eyes on. I told her, ‘I’m going to be an actor. I’m going to move to Hollywood. You don’t know it, but I’m going to be so cool.’ She still would not give me the time of day. I’m sure it was because I was telling her how rich and famous I was going to be, which probably sounded completely ridiculous. Since then, I have been working and I really appreciate it. Some of the Sonny with a Chance cast attended Disney Channel’s “Summer Soiree – The Magic of Mentoring” event in Beverly Hills last night (July 24). Allisyn Arm, Sterling Knight and Tiffany Thornton all showed up to support the event. We know why Demi Lovato couldn’t make it. She’d a tad bit busy with her tour! The President of Disney Channels Worldwide, Rich Ross, was honored at the event. The charity fundraiser for the Los Angeles Team Mentoring, provides disadvantaged middle school kids with a mentor. It really is a great program! It’s great to see the Disney Channel and some of the stars supporting such a great cause.
