After a night on the tiles in Niall’s home town of Mullingar, Ireland over the weekend, pictures emerged of an admittedly dreary-eyed Niall Horan looking a bit worse for wear, with a couple of ladies on his arm. He was snapped having a good time, but when the pics hit Twitter, fans directed a torrent of abuse towards his COUSIN Emma Horan, mistaking her for Niall’s love interest.
Defending herself from the tweets, Emma said: “hes my cousin!!! Why is everyone freaking out please chill stop trending my name. thanks”
After the mistake emerged, a few Directioners took to tweeting their innocence, saying:“Proud to say i have never sent hate to Caroline Flack, Hannah Walker, Danielle Peazer, Eleanor Calder, Emma Ostilly or Emma Horan.”
Rumours spread that Emma had quickly deleted her account, but a check on it today reveals that its still active, albeit with a nice follower boost, as she now boasts over 40,000.
