And Criminal Minds star Kirsten Vangsness has just the part for him… “Justin can be a terrifying killer—a guy killer,” Vangsness tells me. “We always have these women who are getting killed, so I think we need more guys killed.” And then she laughs, “He can kill them and then cut their hair like his. That’s how we’ll know it’s him.”
Vangsness not only plays computer expert Penelope Garcia on the CBS drama (season six begins tonight), but she’s the only castmember who will also be a regular on its upcoming spinoff Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior.
In other words, she is one busy woman. It’s one of the reasons, as well as the passage of Prop 8, that she and fiancée Melanie Goldstein have postponed their wedding. They had originally planned on saying their vows in the spring of last year.
